Dialogic® 1000 Media Gateway Series
The Dialogic® 1000 Media Gateway Series (DMG1000 Gateway) allows for a well-planned, phased migration to an IP network, making it a smart solution for enterprises looking to enhance their legacy PBX equipment with new VoIP access and applications. Connected between a PBX or a digital handset and a LAN or WAN, the Dialogic® 1000 Media Gateway converts proprietary digital PBX messages into a format suitable for transmission over standard IP networks.

The Dialogic® 3000 Media Gateway Series (DMG3000 Gateways) are integrated systems that seamlessly merge traditional PSTN technology with IP networks. By using a Dialogic® 3000 Media Gateway Series, service providers and enterprises can realize the benefits of a converged voice and data network without making radical, disruptive, and expensive upgrades to existing PBX equipment.
Based on industry-standard server technology and the Microsoft® Windows® XP operating system, the Dialogic® 3000 Media Gateways provide a familiar user interface and minimize total cost of ownership by reducing the need for operational and administrative training and special maintenance. The gateways also take advantage of the proven reliability of Dialogic® Diva® products.
Because they were developed in accordance with Microsoft® Exchange® Server 2007 Unified Messaging (UM) specifications and certified by Microsoft for interoperability, the Dialogic® 3000 Media Gateways are an ideal solution for connecting ISDN Basic Rate Interface (BRI) PSTN lines and QSIG-compatible PBXs to UM environments using Microsoft Exchange Server 2007.

Dialogic® 4000 Media Gateway Series (DMG4000 Gateways)
The Dialogic® 4000 Media Gateway Series (DMG4000 Gateways) is a set of integrated systems designed to connect Microsoft® Office Communications Server 2007 R2 to existing PBX systems and PSTN networks. Based on a standard rack-mount server running the Windows® Server 2008 x64 operating system, the Dialogic® 4000 Media Gateways are basic hybrid media gateways which are designed, and certified, for the Microsoft® Office Communications Server 2007 R2 and therefore include the role of Mediation Server, which is Microsoft’s technology providing PSTN and PBX interoperability, high-fidelity VoIP, and security.
The Dialogic® 4000 Media Gateways have a familiar user interface, which minimizes Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) by reducing the need for operational and administrative training and special maintenance. In addition, the DMG4000 Gateways keep the number of devices needed to support Office Communications Server 2007 R2 to a minimum by integrating the Mediation Server into a gateway, reducing hardware maintenance.
The Dialogic® 4000 Media Gateways contain field-proven Dialoguc Diva Boards and Dialogic Diva SIPcontrol Software in addition to Mediation Server software. These elements are integrated in a rugged, compact 1U Intel IP Network Server NSW1U, which features a high-performance 64-bit Dual-Core Intel Xeon processor 5100 series, resulting in a system that can be installed easily in a standard data center rack. The Dialogic® 4000 Media Gateways also offer dual Gigabit Ethernet interfaces for IP network connection. They can be configured to support up to 120 channels of unified communications traffic between legacy networks and an IP network hosting Office Communications Server 2007 R2.
